Measuring 6.7 on the Richter, the April 6, 2009 Earthquake of central Italy in the Abruzzo region has left 250 people dead with still ten of thousands stranded or homeless. With a death toll rising and the region devastated Berlusconi has declared a “State of Emergency.”

You can help! From Thurs April 9th till Monday the 13th M&J hostel will be taking 50 cents from each bed sold as donation towards the crisis in Abruzzo. We will also be open to personal donation for anyone who wishes to help. All donations will be collected at lobby and given to L'Aquila Lions Club in Direct support to help rebuild the area.
